iwrotehaikusaboutreallylongandstupidbandnamesinyouryearbook

This was a real cool release, and i'm glad it happened. It was impossible to find these tracks physically until this was released. The tracks compiled here were available on CDR's released by the band themselves, and the vinyl discography wasn't released until long after the band called it a day.

Discos Huelga released this LP. For those that don't know, it is the self titled release of iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook, also titled Discography by some, as it compiles all the tracks previously available. This was from the second press and is Coke Bottle Clear/ 100. Apparently it was a pre-order exclusive, and suits the art pretty well. But on another note, the sleeve... Great cover art, but it's that awful high gloss stuff that leaves fingerprint marks; and it's damn near impossible to take a good photo of it too.

Back cover, plus my weird shadow reflected off this awful bloody sleeve.

Close up of the back sleeve with the label logo and track-listing. Also, all the tracks are Untitled which is really helpful in deciphering your favourite moments from the LP. On the upside, it really makes you pay attention to the insert (coming a little later). Untitled 1 is somewhat seen as an intro by some (i'm sure the insert states it as an intro too), but more interestingly there are 13 tracks on the LP, not 12. Track 13 is not identified anywhere on the record, and is often dubbed 'Bonus Track' by fans/ internet nerds.

Finally, the most punk insert you will ever see. Possibly 8''X 8'' or 9''X 9'', single sided single sheet insert. Lyrics, thank you's and a little history on how the release came about. It's a pretty fun little read.

I really enjoy this release. My ears are quite selective towards screamo, and I haven't delved as deep into the genre as I would like to. But this release has really stuck with me. If anyone has a red or clear copy they would like to sell, i'd be into owning the variants of this.
